The trailing suction dredge Ocean Traverse Nord departed the Mulgrave Dock shortly after 0700h this morning and headed north to transit Canso Lock bound for Quebec.
The Ocean Traverse Nord may be back in the area to winter at the mulgrave Dock according to the radio chatter I heard today as the vessel departed Canso Lock.
Shortly after the Ocean Traverse Nord was locked through the fishing vessel SHG headed into the lock .It is from Deer Island New Brunswick.
The oil products tanker Nave Atria finished loading cargo at the Nustar Berth Two and at 1300h APA pilot Capt. Elias Dorey went aboard and co-ordinated the vessels departure with the help of the tugs Svitzer Bedford and the Point Chebucto.
