The tug Strait Raven with Capt. Shawn Marsh at the wheel passed the Bulk Singapore port to port on his way to Anchorage Charlie with the Yokohama fenders needed to be placed between the bulker King Robert and the CSL Acadian to do a topoff operation
Meanwhile at Nustar Ocean Berth One the tanker Australian Spirit was loading crude and is expected to depart early morning on the 10th.
At the Georgia Pacific gypsum dock in point Tupper the Mar Bulk vessel Pioneer was loading gypsum from an ever diminishing pile which when gone will signal the demise of gypsum shipments from the Strait area.
On a sad note an acquaintance of mine passed away in Quebec .A man known and respected in ship circles most especially in the St. Lawrence area by the name of Kent Malo. We had chatted many times since I started contributing to this blog and his info was always timely and freely given.
Rest in Peace Kent.
